Pardon the joke up top in my headline. The only thing more offensive than a poorly tailored joke is a diaster of a home at way more than what “man” should be asking.  However this does not necessarily apply here.  For $30k to get an older but decent housing for $30k is not a bad bargain in this market.  Please understand when you buy this property for cash when you resell it, it will be a cash sale again.  The home is too old for a mortgage.

This can also make for a very good rental. Taxrs are about $180 a month. Rent for $500 and you net $320 a month.
